Legion LSA-2000
Details
This 2700 watt power amplifier has a built in switch for a 150hz low pass crossover as well as a 40hz low pass filter to protect your subwoofers from over excursion due to extremely low frequencies. Either can be turned on or off at anytime so it can function normally. It has high pass outputs so if you do run the 150hz crossover, you can output to another power amplifier for main PA speakers and they will only receive 150hz and above. It’s a built electronic crossover option that saves time, rack space, ease and money. Full frequency pass through outputs are also included.
The Thermal heat sensor is located at the end of the heat sink block for each channel, allowing the fans to cool both ends of the heat sinks. Some may have a special term for this or “name” but it’s all the same and is good technology.
This amp uses 2700 watts worth of transistors and has the power supply and transformer to back them up fully. This is honest to goodness power and quality.
It is a solid design with strong handles, rear rack ears and plenty of structure to hold up under harsh road conditions. It utilizes a metal plate on top of the transformer that is bolted in place. When dealing with large transformers, this is a key feature if the amp is moved around a lot.
